Introducing Curious Creatures: Mountain Bike Apparel For All You Weirdos

Curious Creatures, out of Bozeman, Montana, is a women-first mountain bike apparel brand dedicated to self-expression and sustainability.  As declared on their website, the crew is “just a bunch of weirdos obsessed with exploring the world by bike.” Though the brand vibe is fun and quirky, don’t underestimate the technical chops of the product design and fabrics.

Natasha Woodworth, the visionary and designer behind the new brand, brings years of technical expertise and a commitment to sustainability and quality to Curious Creatures. Her design experience spans mountain tops to runways and includes designing costumes for pop icon Lady Gaga, developing advanced concepts at Patagonia, and working fashion shows alongside Marc Jacobs. Now, as the founder of Curious Creatures, Woodworth brings her passion for adventure and design to the forefront, infusing each piece with a sense of humor, expression, and fun. “At Curious Creatures, we are not just another apparel brand; we are a community of like-minded individuals who believe in the power of exploration, self-expression, and respect for the environment,” says Woodworth. “Our mission is to inspire riders to break free from the confines of traditional, overbuilt mountain bike gear and reconnect with the essence of nature and adventure. We encourage our fellow riders to celebrate their quirks and embrace the magic of the unknown.”

Curious Creatures debut line prioritizes women.  The initial collection includes shorts in various lengths for all bike adventures, the Sun Dog Pant (a lightweight trail pant), and a series of tees. Cross-over pieces are available for men; as the line expands, so will the options for all genders.

Sustainability is at the core of the brand. Almost all materials come from Bluesign® approved fabric mills, minimizing the chemical impact of fabric.  For example, the Ramble Scramble Shorts are made with bio-based polyester and are easily recyclable. Curious Creatures tops are sewn domestically with minority-owned factory partners who operate with the best conditions for the workers. Curious Creatures has also partnered with a local Montana repair shop to ensure the ability to repair your goods and keep them in use for as long as possible. If it’s genuinely time to retire, we de-trim and sort by material to recycle as much of the garment as possible with major chemical companies.

We can’t wait to peep this gear in the wild and share in the fun!

Let’s get weird.
